Centenary Film

A.D. Cooper 08:22, UK

This short film was created to mark the centenary of a beekeepers’ association in South West London. The organisation has nurtured the ancient art since the aftermath of World War 1. Filming took place at the Twickenham apiary, and involved opening up hives to record images and sounds of the bees at work. The Centenary Film has won or placed in several UK festivals.

A.D. Cooper is an award-winning film maker who’s also a beekeeper. She’s made a string of shorts covering drama, poetry, corporates and documentaries usually from her own scripts, and is in development for a feature documentary.
